THE PDF SHEET MUSIC COLLECTION

 

There are two different collection of sheet music in PDF format at kunstderfuge.com:

  1. The OnClassical collection

  2. The public domain collection

The OnClassical collection (which will be continually expanded) is obtained from the scanning of an own sheet music library of old editions received a few years ago from a very kind German woman. It has a great symbolic value from the moment that it belonged to a man very close to the philosopher Rudolph Steiner. The collection was of one of the first masters of the steinerian school in Stuttgart. It consists of various hundreds of books containing music for pianoforte, singer and piano, piano transcriptions from orchestra masterworks, and pieces for piano four hands. All books were published before 1930 while a good part in the last XIX c. The scanning, carry out as carefully as possible, will take several months.

The public domain collection is obtained from files downloaded from the web (for example from the Mutopia website). At time of downloading, all separated files were declaired of public domain and scanned or typeset from uncopyrighted editions.

 

Please note: the collections represent extra value added to the kunstderfuge.com subscription, and an aid to the cause of maintenance of a large and even more onerous MIDI website.
